How It Started
A Practice Built Because the Commute Shouldn't Be Part of the Cure
When, Dr. Pravat Gorai was completing his clinical internships across some of Kolkata's busiest hospital floors — IPGME&R SSKM Hospital, BIN, SNP Hospital and KP Hospital — and kept running into the same gap. Patients recovering from strokes, surgeries and fractures were told to "continue physiotherapy at home," with no qualified therapist actually there to guide them once they left the ward.
Advanced Physio Hub was founded to close that gap directly — not a clinic patients travel to, but a team of BPT-qualified physiotherapists who bring the entire session — assessment, hands-on therapy, equipment, and progress tracking — to wherever the patient already is.
What began as one physiotherapist covering a handful of neighborhoods has grown into a team of 10+ certified specialists, with more than 10,000 home sessions delivered and a 98% patient satisfaction rate — without ever opening a waiting room.
